Their "secure" payment site is NOT secure; it uses an outdated method not supported by modern browsers. It says "Please access our online bill payment website using Internet Explorer or Safari browsers only. We currently do not support using Google Chrome or Firefox" - but the reason that those browsers DO work is because they're willing to ignore the fact that the "security" method is considered unsafe and thus Firefox and Chrome refuse to support it.
So there is effectively no secure way to pay on their website. You have to be willing to send credit card data over an unsecured page. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
METCOM has repeatedly proven themselves to be horribly incompetent in designing and running a website. Shameful in this day and age.
