‘Below Deck’ Trevor Walker Gives Update, Kelley Johnson And Captain Lee Says ‘Bye Felicia’ (2024)

Trevor Walker didn’t last very long on Below Deck. On Tuesday night’s episode, Captain Lee Rosbach made the decision to fire him, only a week after viewers saw Kelley Johnson demote him from his senior deckhand position. Where is Trevor now? In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, posted after the latest episode, Trevor talked about his behavior on his show, Captain Lee’s decision to send him home and what he’s doing now.

Regarding his behavior towards the rest of the crew, Trevor admitted that he didn’t treat them well. He said that he wasn’t surprised at how much friction there was between him and the other crew members.

“I was not to surprised as I wasn’t exactly the best to them, and we didn’t have many things in common.”

It seems that Trevor still doesn’t see how he was in the wrong. Asked about any regrets, he said that he doesn’t have many regrets about the season other than drinking a bit too much.

“I don’t have many regrets other than possibly having a bit too much to drink.”

As for Captain Lee’s decision to send him home, which he did after hearing about Trevor’s drunken behavior during the crew’s night out and Trevor mumbling about how it all went downhill after the others learned he used to be a hair model, Trevor didn’t say whether he now agrees with the decision. Trevor only said that when he was being fired, he just thought about his next job.

“When Captain Lee let me go, I was just thinking about the next job and where it would be, hoping for it to be better.”

Trevor’s current position may be a better fit for him since he’s now the bosun of a yacht.

“Since Below Deck, I am the bosun of nine crew on a 151? yacht cruising the the Caribbean and South Pacific.”

On the Season 4 premiere episode, Trevor pointed out that he had worked as a bosun before and made it clear that a senior deckhand position was beneath his qualifications. He resigned himself to the fact that Kelley was going to be the bosun rather than him. He then seemed to abuse his senior deckhand position, ordering the second deckhands, Nico Scholly and Lauren Burchell, around as if they had no experience and constantly reminding them that they worked under him. Trevor also spoke to Nico and Lauren, as well as the other crew members, in a condescending manner. Nico and Lauren voiced their displeasure with Trevor to Kelley, which contributed to Captain Lee’s later decision to fire Trevor.

While the fact that Trevor is now the bosun of a big yacht may be surprising to some viewers, given his attitude, it’s likely not surprising to anyone that Trevor has had no contact with any of the other cast members since his departure. Trevor admitted that he didn’t make the best impression. He also expressed hope that perhaps with time, he’ll be friendly with some of them.

“I am not in touch with the crew at all. I don’t think I made the best impression on them, and I hope distance may make things blow over.”

One person who certainly doesn’t miss Trevor Walker is Captain Lee Rosbach. In his blog recapping the latest Below Deck episode, Captain Lee made fun of Trevor. Captain Lee called Trevor, a former hair model, a “narcissistic hair model” who runs his mouth too much and can’t handle his alcohol.

“Trevor has finally got on my last good nerve. It appears that Trevor, our narcissistic hair model, has finally let his mouth write a check that his a** is incapable of cashing…He obviously can’t drink without stopping until he hits the bottom of the bottle. Sad commentary for someone his age.”

Captain Lee then seemingly compared Trevor to Leon Walker, the chef he fired last season. Or perhaps it was third stewardess Raquel “Rocky” Dakota who Captain Lee was thinking of? Captain Lee clashed with both Leon and Rocky last season. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, when Rocky defended Leon on the season 3 reunion show, Captain Lee lashed out at Rocky for making excuses for Leon, calling her excuses for him “bulls**t.” In any case, Captain Lee ended his rant on Trevor by declaring, “Bye, Felicia.”

“He is still blaming everyone for his bad misconduct. Remind you of anyone? Won’t accept any responsibility for his actions… Trevor, you didn’t make very good use of all the rope you were given, except to fashion your own noose. Bye, Felicia.”

On Twitter, Captain Lee dismissed Trevor’s statement that he can’t be replaced. According to Captain Lee, even a retiree working part-time could do as much as Trevor. “Bye Felicia,” Captain Lee reiterated.

We could get a retiree working half a day 3 times a week to replace you Trev. Puleeees, get over yourself. Bye Felicia

Kelley Johnson also made it clear that Trevor’s insignificant to him. As the episode aired, Kelley proclaimed happiness that “the hair model” is out of his life and the crew can now move on without him. “#ByeFelicia,” Kelley wrote.

The hair model is out of my life! Now it's on to the next charter, and doing our job! @BelowDeck #HellWeekisOver #ByeFelicia pic.twitter.com/nfG5myZZlV

Kelley also admitted that he wanted to kill Trevor over the comments that he made about his military career and other Marine Corps members. During the crew’s night out, Trevor, after having one too many drinks, slurred out insults to Kelley over his past in the Marines, calling him a “PTSD motherf**ker.” Trevor even made fun of military members who died while doing their service.

That took everything I had to not kill Trevor. My blood still boils over his words about my brothers. My job is more important than this kid.

— Kelley Johnson (@KelleyWJohnson) September 28, 2016

Kelley thanked his fans for their messages of support and gratitude and gave a shout out to the Marines.

Thank you everyone for your support and thanks for my service. I really appreciate the kind words, it means a lot. @BelowDeck #SemperFi

While Kelley remained calm as Trevor hurled his insults during the ride back to the yacht, Nico Scholly got more heated. He and Trevor yelled at one another during the bus ride, challenging and exchanging threats to harm the other. The other crew members, especially Kelley, were able to keep Nico and Trevor separated from one another before it actually got physical.

On Twitter, Nico made fun of Trevor’s firing.

Biiiiyyeee Trevor! #belowdeck

— Nico Scholly (@NicoScholly93) September 28, 2016

Nico questioned whether he too could be a hair model.

I wonder if my hair is suitable for Paul Mitchell. Hmmm. ?? #belowdeck

— Nico Scholly (@NicoScholly93) September 28, 2016

Nico celebrated the fact that he can now have the top bunk. On the premiere episode, Trevor took Nico’s belonging off the top bunk and said that he was taking the bunk as senior deckhand.

Top bunks mine baby!! @sushi_loz @BelowDeck #belowdeck

Who will join the Below Deck cast to replace Trevor Walker? Nico Scholly teased that the new additions is “an interesting one to say the least.” Perhaps Captain Lee Rosbach and Kelley Johnson will have an easier time with the new senior deckhand?
